“It was always music…” are the words of Adonvi born on April 2nd 1994; formally known as Joseph Douglas. This charismatic singjay was born and raised in the Kingston 10 community of Richmond Park. He attended the Melrose Primary School where he obtained his basic and primary education. Adonvi’s childhood was filled with challenges like not growing up with his biological mother while being a part of a blended family. He later went to Excelsior High School where he formed the “Mad Dogs” music group with a few friends. He then realized his calling was music. He completed high school passing all seven (7) of his CSEC subjects including two (2) Distinctions. Adonvi later quit his 9 to 5 job in 2015 to pursue his passion in music.
Adonvi now has a plethora of songs and likens his style of delivery to that of Lil’ Wayne and Future. His moods serve as his inspiration so he has created a wide variety of lyrical bombs. He has a song for every age group in his musical arsenal. Songs such as “Life is What You Make It” (a song of inspiration and motivation), “Dallaz and Gyal” (a hardcore authentic dancehall piece) and of course a song specifically for the ladies entitled “Mama Spice.”
The diverse and talented Adonvi is dedicated to becoming a household name and wishes to carry his music to the four corners of the earth.
